Essex River Cruises & Charters is located in the village of Essex, Massachusetts, one of the four communities that comprise Cape Ann, along with Gloucester, Rockport and Manchester-by-the-Sea. Easily accessible, we're only a forty-five minute drive north of Boston, MA and Portsmouth, NH,and under an hour and half drive from Worcester, MA, Cape Cod and Providence, RI. We offer plenty of free parking on site. Buses and RVs are welcome. Our vessels have a restroom on board and are wheelchair accessible. We’ll help you aboard!

From Boston | points south & west:
Take Route 95 to Route 128 North, Exit 15 "School St., Manchester, Essex". At end of ramp, take a left onto Southern Ave. Go 3.2 miles into Essex to a STOP sign. Take a left onto Route 133 West (Main St.) and go 7/10 mile (past Woodman's restaurant and the causeway). Take a right onto Spring St. just before Ernie's Service Station. Our sign is on the corner of Spring St. Follow Spring St. 200 yards and take the first right onto Dodge St. Follow Dodge St. 1/4 mile to the end.
